Well, the Voice of 04 is going through an interesting stretch. Late-game negotiations with the High-A Visalia Oaks broke down, as the front office had higher priorities than adding an out-of-area intern...but it left me holding the short straw, with no internship and about a month left to get one.
The Inland Empire 66ers of San Bernardino have expressed interest in a non-guaranteed opportunity, with reduced rent and pay based on positions that are availible...but the only work would be when people call out, or what sales I could scrap together. I'm trying to partner it with some sort of sales work for the Orange County Flyers of the GBL or (preferably) the Anaheim Arsenal of the NBA D-League, and without something like that to fall on I couldn't go through with it.
Still looking to piece something together elsewhere, but thus far...no dice.
If all else fails, I will stay in the boro, begin my quest for next year's housing, maybe tweak my SAH schedule again, and probably go full-steam into Musicians basketball, with a side of RHS/MT summer baseball to prepare for next year.
