Late Feb Snowy Catchup (Sports News)

Gimme back my bullets, as I slog my way through some notes on the sports world:

Rain and drainage issues wreaked havoc with the weekend's NASCAR races, especially the Sprint Cup Race (Auto Club 500). Several restarts, delays all day, water-related crashing, a few un-PC criticisms by drivers (notably Junior), and a postponement at 2am CT until the next day. Epic harm, but it finally ran alright. Watch the #18 Interstate Batteries car; that Busch kid was like a man possessed this weekend.

LA Galaxy and Hong Kong arent on the same page; the Gals are advertising their March 9th game in HK, while the HK Football Association says nothing is final and the stadium's already booked. They're giving the Gals till tomorrow to sort this one out before "it's too late" and they close the door. Whee.

Yao is out for a while with a broken foot...rest of the season for the Rockets and may miss the Olympics. Considering China's hosting them...wow. That sucks for marketing the brand in CHN. At least there's Yi...

And baseball is right around the corner; Middle has already started, in fact. Specialized coverage of the Braves, Dodgers, and Rays, plus the Brewers, Halos, and Sounds/Redbirds right here. Whenever I update.

More to come...but now back out into the snow.

Euro Hoops?

The chances of my catching with a baseball team are growing slimmer and slimmer.

I'm more interested in D-League, European/Asian basketball, or even (gasp!) college, actually.

Looking at the Euro recaps on WNBA.com reminded me of the old desire I had to play overseas. Here's hoping I can find an agent or something. Whoo.
